As we have observed our nation become involved in fighting terrorism around the world, all of us as Christians have had mixed emotions. We support our national leaders and our struggle against Islamic extremists and the horrible aftermath of their acts of terrorism. At the same time, we have longed for a way to demonstrate the love of Jesus is a tangible way.
Muslim Bible Day provides that opportunity. Although each of us who are serving as National Chairmen are involved in a number of outreach programs throughout the Muslim world...none of them have the potential for God's blessing like the distribution of His Word. We encourage you to join this ever expanding project by getting your church, Sunday School class, Bible study, small group or organization enrolled and actively involved.
"At First Baptist Church Woodstock, Muslim Bible Day, is our way of honoring those lost to our nation on 9/11 and remembering them with an appropriate response to terrorism...by sending the words of our God and Savior in written form to their world that so desperately needs to know the Gospel."
"Our missionaries and local believers continually face the task of discipling new believers and the need for the Scriptures in their language. Even when the Bible is translated, it is not always made available. This is especially true among those working in the Muslim world."
